My journey to CircleStone Counselling

My journey began with a deep curiosity and passion for understanding how humans can create so much suffering when all we yearn for is love, acceptance, and belonging. I became completely absorbed in understanding how to heal myself and how to support others to transition from pain to aliveness. From a young age, I was driven by a curiosity about the complexities of human experience – what causes pain and suffering, and conversely, what fosters joy and connection.
My own experiences with trauma and destructive patterns led me on a path of self-discovery and healing. This journey highlighted the importance of addressing the whole being – mind, body, emotion, and spirit – and recognizing that each person holds their own unique key to unlocking a healthier self.
Through years of dedicated study and personal growth, I’ve integrated a diverse range of modalities, including Somatic Experiencing, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy, Equine Facilitated Wellness, and Somatic touch, to help others navigate their healing journeys. My passion lies in empowering individuals, families, and communities to move beyond the impacts of trauma and conflict, rewrite their stories, and create a life filled with peace and authentic connection.
With over 20 years of experience supporting others in their healing process, I’ve had the honor of working with diverse communities around the world, including in rural BC and the Yukon. I believe that every interaction is an opportunity for growth and connection, and I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to share this work with you.
